Position Title: Public Finance Banker
This role offers a unique opportunity for a Public Finance Banker to engage with municipal finance, focusing on building and maintaining relationships with issuers. Salary Range: $85,000 – $250,000 / Year DOE
Public Finance Banker Responsibilities
• Analyze overall debt structures and develop financing solutions for clients
• Generate innovative ideas for financing options
• Collaborate with Associates to create effective presentations
• Engage potential clients through pitches to secure investments
• Leverage existing relationships with issuers to facilitate business opportunities
• Manage trading of bonds for clients, including buying and selling
Public Finance Banker Requirements
• 2++ years of experience in municipal public finance banking
• Strong connections within the Chicago area and state of Illinois
• Solid background in municipal finance
• Series 7, 52, 53, and 24 (or equivalent licenses) are required
• Flexibility and a willingness to work 60+ hours per week is preferred
• Strong relationship-building skills is preferred
• Aggressive sales approach is preferred
• Experience in a military-oriented or veteran-owned environment is preferred
