They are looking for a Security Operations Analyst to join their expanding team, focusing on supporting both internal and external customers in a Microsoft-centric technology environment.ResponsibilitiesReceipt and categorisation of initial event, incident and requests from customersProvide initial triage and trigger escalation/assignment as appropriateInvestigation of event alerts and liaising with the customer to confirm closure24/7 rota in 8 hour shift pattern (see attached)SkillsUnderstanding of Information Security principlesGood written and verbal communication skillsTechnical understanding of IT infrastructure (any of the following): Microsoft 365 suite, Azure Active Directory, Azure portalAbility to install security software and applicationsThe candidate must live and hold a relevant Right to work in the UK for this roleThe successful candidate will be required to satisfy a right to work in the UK and Standard DBS check at conditional offer stagePrevious experience in a SOC or security teamExperience with a Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) toolset.
