The Langham, Boston is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead a finance team in ensuring financial accuracy and high standards of guest experience.ResponsibilitiesOversee the Income Audit and Accounts Payable functionsPrepare Daily and Weekly Revenue ReportAssist with Month-End Close Process, including preparation and review of journal entriesReconcile daily payment transactionsAssist with preparation of monthly financial statements and operating reportsAssist with timely completion of balance sheet and bank reconciliations as required by Langham Hotels standard operating proceduresAssist Accounting colleagues as neededComplete a daily and monthly tax reconciliationAnswer calls from guests and research the issue/inquiryAdditional duties not mentioned above may also be requested by supervisorSkillsBachelor’s Degree preferredTwo to three years’ Accounting experience, preferably in hospitality industry 3 years of experience in the Hotel field as a supervisor or manager a plusKnowledge of accounting operations relative to the hotel, general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, income audit, etcBasic mathematics skills; ability to operate 10-key by touch; computer knowledgeMust be able work under strict time constraintsLegally authorized to work in the United StatesCompany OverviewEVOLUTION OF HOSPITALITY.
