The role requires strong mainframe experience and proficiency in COBOL programming, along with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Responsibilities
• Candidate must take Glider assessment “Senior Application Developer (Mainframe)” 12 Questions
• Must have mainframe experience
• Required 3 years of Proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns in the building and deploying of scalable; highly available systems
• 3 years of Experience in COBOL mainframe programming
• Gitlab experience
• Must be able to program in COBOL
• Must have experience with code documentation and processing
• Preferences : Agile/Scrum Methodology, Team player, Self-starter
• Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment
• Interest and ability to learn other programming languages as needed
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, unit testing, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Demonstrated passion for user experience and improving usability
Skills
