They are seeking an Assistant Designer to support the Design team during a high-volume period, contributing to the design and execution of handbags and accessories while ensuring alignment with brand standards and timelines.ResponsibilitiesConcept and design products from start to finish, including artwork and hardware developmentCreate prints, graphics, embroidery, and embellishment layouts for handbags, accessories, and patchesPartner with Founders and Design team to develop seasonal concepts, materials, and color directionEnsure all design details are clearly handed off to Product Development within deadlinesMaintain design integrity and ensure high-quality execution across all productsResearch trends, shop market, and identify relevant design opportunitiesCollaborate cross-functionally to support development timelines and deliverablesSkillsOpen to fresh grads or 1-2 years of experience designing handbags and/or accessoriesStrong understanding of materials, hardware, leather, and constructionProficiency in Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopAbility to create technical sketches and design layoutsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and collaboration skillsBenefitsHybrid schedule: 4 days in NY officeMinimum 3-month assignmentCompany OverviewStoney Clover Lane is an e-commerce website that offers a wide range of clothing, bags, jewelry and travel accessories.
