– Configure workflows, user permissions, sample tracking processes, and data management capabilities.
– Support NGS-related laboratory operations and ensure workflows align with sequencing processes.
– Develop and maintain SOPs, system documentation, and training materials.
– Troubleshoot LIMS issues, manage enhancements, and lead continuous improvement efforts.
– Function as the go-to resource for LIMS administration and workflow management.

Required Qualifications

– 6-10 years of relevant experience in laboratory informatics, LIMS administration, laboratory operations, or related fields.
– Hands-on experience administering and configuring Sapio LIMS.
– Strong understanding of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows and laboratory operations.
– Previous in-lab/bench laboratory experience is required.
– Proven experience building, implementing, and optimizing workflows within a LIMS environment.
– Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects with minimal direction.

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience leading LIMS implementations or major system enhancements.
– Knowledge of laboratory data management, sample tracking, and system integrations.
– Experience supporting fast-paced or rapidly growing laboratory organizations.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Sapio LIMS expert who can quickly evaluate the current environment, take charge of system administration, and build effective laboratory workflows that support NGS operations. They will be comfortable serving as the primary administrator, driving system improvements, and delivering scalable solutions with minimal oversight.
