They are seeking a Contract Social Media & Digital Strategy Manager to own the corporate and executive digital presence, focusing on social media strategy and content creation across key platforms like X and reputed company.
Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end social media strategy for the corporate brand, with primary focus on X and reputed company
• Develop and protect a distinctive, technically grounded brand voice across conversations spanning advanced energy, aerospace, and defense topics
• Create short-form copy, graphics, and simple visual assets that translate complex technical concepts into compelling content
• Partner with an in-house production team to deploy video and photography strategically
• Manage day-to-day posting and active community engagement, particularly on X
• Own social strategy and execution for company executives, including ghostwriting and content calendar management
• Surface relevant news, trends, and industry activity to identify executive commentary opportunities
• Identify and build relationships with influencers, subject matter experts, and key opinion leaders in aerospace, defense, energy, and deep tech
• Partner with internal communications stakeholders on launches, partnerships, events, and major announcements
• Contribute to email newsletter content development and performance analysis
• Support basic website content updates and SEO initiatives
Skills
• 5–8+ years owning social media programs end-to-end for B2B tech companies, startups, or complex, high-stakes organizations
• Direct experience in regulated, technical, or reputationally sensitive industries such as energy, nuclear, defense, aerospace, fintech, or healthcare
• Demonstrated experience managing both corporate brand accounts and multiple executive social profiles simultaneously
• Deep fluency in X and reputed company — platform culture, audience behavior, and algorithmic dynamics
• Proven ghostwriting experience for executives or management of executive personal brands
• Ability to translate dense technical or scientific content into clear, engaging narratives without oversimplifying
• Strong editorial instincts and a distinctive point of view; portfolio examples expected
• Comfort operating with significant autonomy and making real-time editorial decisions in sensitive communications environments
• Experience in aerospace, space technology, or nuclear energy specifically
• Familiarity with influencer and key opinion leader relationship building in deep tech or defense ecosystems
• Experience contributing to email newsletters or basic SEO and website content initiatives
• Background working at or with early-stage or growth-stage startups
