Qualifications:
Education, Licensure, and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field from an accredited college or university is required. A combination of relevant experience and education may also be considered, with a bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong background in the finance industry. Experience in the insurance sector is highly preferred.
At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis roles, preferably within a dental or health insurance finance environment.
Advanced skills in reputed company Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams).
Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, with experience in Prophix being highly desirable.
Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated in-depth understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Comprehensive knowledge of the insurance sector, including regulatory requirements, risk management, and industry-specific financial practices strongly preferred.
Understanding of actuarial concepts, risk management principles, and financial reporting standards.
Strong ability to perform financial, statistical, and comparative analyses, and to draw sound conclusions and recommendations.
Expertise in using financial systems and data analysis tools to support financial planning and reporting.

Essential Functions:
Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and commit to staying updated on emerging trends and technologies in finance and insurance to ensure the organization remains competitive and compliant.
Conduct high-level complex professional work, including revenue, claims, gross margin, rate/volume, operational, budget variance, cost allocation, and cost/benefit analyses to support strategic decision-making.
Perform analytics on new projects and ventures, utilizing financial analysis and metrics to predict outcomes and provide actionable insights for business growth.
Collaborate with leadership to create the annual budget, ongoing mid-year forecasts, multi-year long-term plans, and formal capital allocation models.
Evaluate and assess risks associated with insurance operations, such as claims experience, pricing adequacy, and regulatory compliance. Provide recommendations for risk mitigation to protect the organization.
Create and maintain complex Excel-based financial models for revenue projections, staffing needs, cost/benefit analyses, scenario planning, and other financial assessments as needed.
Work in reputed company with functional leadership as a business partner to assist, inform, and educate on financial matters, fostering a collaborative and informed decision-making environment.
Prepare comprehensive financial reports, executive summaries, and presentations to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
Review and analyze monthly budget variance reports, researching explanations to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
Provide support for ad hoc analysis as requested by senior management, delivering timely and relevant financial insights.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to measure organizational success, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.
