As a Fraud Prevention Specialist – Gaming Customer Service Representative, you will be the frontline guardian of fair play. Key Responsibilities
• Investigate and Resolve Fraudulent Activities: Use advanced analytics, behavioral profiling, and proprietary tools to identify, analyze, and close fraud cases across multiple gaming platforms.
• Analyze Digital Footprints: Examine transaction logs, IP addresses, device fingerprints, and account histories to distinguish legitimate activity from malicious attempts.
• Collaborate with Cross‑Functional Teams: Work closely with the Fraud Prevention Engineering, Risk Management, and Customer Experience teams to share insights, refine detection models, and implement preventive measures.
• Stay Ahead of Emerging Threats: Monitor industry trends, new attack vectors, and evolving fraud tactics to recommend proactive countermeasures.
• Educate and Empower Players: Communicate findings and preventive best practices to users in a clear, empathetic manner, ensuring they feel supported and informed.
• Maintain Documentation and Reporting: Produce detailed case reports, trend analyses, and executive summaries to inform strategy and policy decisions.
• Support Continuous Improvement: Participate in post‑incident reviews, contribute to knowledge bases, and help refine investigative workflows.
Essential Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in an interactive or gaming environment.
• At least 1 year of technical support experience, demonstrating strong technical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Active engagement in the gaming community (e.g., League of reputed company, VALORANT, or similar titles) to understand player behavior and motivations.
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting, including basic knowledge of IP routing, DNS, and VPNs.
• Typing speed of at least 30 words per reputed company with high accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of translating complex technical concepts into layman’s terms.
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm, focused, and solution‑oriented in high‑pressure, fast‑paced environments.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week within the window of 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to accommodate business needs.
• Must reside in Atlanta, GA and maintain a dedicated, distraction‑free remote workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with fraud detection platforms (e.g., reputed company, Kount, or similar).
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, or PCI‑DSS.
