The Role
OpenTrain AI is recruiting an Infrastructure Private Equity Financial Modeling Reviewer for an AI training project based on synthetic transaction materials. You will build a complete infrastructure transaction model from source documents, document assumptions and references, and evaluate anonymized models against defined quality criteria.
The work combines transaction modeling, digital infrastructure knowledge, and structured expert review. You must be able to build a financial model from source documents without relying on a template.
• Remote contractor work available to candidates residing in the United States or United Kingdom
• Approximately 20 to 25 total hours over 1.5 to 2 weeks
• Pay of $100 to $120 per hour
• Part-time contract engagement
What You’ll Do
You will create an editable Excel workbook for an assigned infrastructure transaction using a synthetic deal document pack. The completed model should use live formulas and clearly identify source references and stated assumptions.
You will also peer-review two anonymized models produced by other contractors. Each review requires a completed scorecard against fixed criteria and a concise written rationale explaining your assessment.

Required Experience and Skills
This role requires approximately 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience, including around two years of investment banking experience in infrastructure, power and utilities, real estate, or TMT M&A, plus one to two years of infrastructure private equity experience.
Candidates should have current or recent associate experience at an infrastructure-focused private equity fund or infrastructure investment team. Fluent English, clear written communication, and sound judgment when evaluating financial models are required.
