NestAway Ltd is an exciting early-stage startup building a new online platform dedicated to nature-led, eco-conscious and meaningful living.
Our vision is to bring together people, experiences and communities across sustainability, permaculture, regenerative living, eco-tourism, retreats, volunteering, education, animal welfare and conscious communities— all in one inspiring online space.
We are building more than a platform. We want to create a community that encourages people to connect with nature, learn new skills, meet like-minded people and make a positive difference.
NestAway is currently being developed by a passionate core team of 8–9 people, including the Founder & CEO, and we are now looking for talented people who want to help shape the journey from the early stages.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a creative, passionate and experienced Communications & Marketing Executive to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who doesn’t simply want a job but wants to help build something meaningful from the ground up.
Who Will Thrive in This Role?
You will play a key role in shaping and leading NestAway’s communication strategy, helping us build a strong, recognisable brand and create meaningful connections with Nesters – who will end up register their listings on our new platform and Nesties – participants who are looking to discover and book their next visit or meaningful practice.
This is a hands-on leadership role within an early-stage startup, so we are looking for someone who is not afraid to take initiative, test ideas, create solutions and make things happen.
Communication Strategy & Leadership
• Develop and lead NestAway’s overall communications strategy.
• Establish clear communication objectives, priorities and measurable goals.
• Develop effective strategies for communicating with and attracting new Nesters and supporting their journey towards registering their activities on the platform.
• Identify new channels, tools and opportunities for reaching potential Nesters and Nesties.
• Continuously test, evaluate and improve communication approaches based on results and feedback.
• Create the communication processes, resources and tools needed for the Communication Team to work effectively.
• Take ownership of the Communication Department and provide direction, support and leadership to Communication Assistants and other contributors.
• Encourage the team to be proactive, creative, independent and solution focused.
A key priority of the role will be helping NestAway build a strong community of Nesters.
• Develop strategies to identify and reach potential Nesters.
• Create effective communication campaigns to encourage Nesters to join NestAway and list their activities.
• Develop different approaches for engaging with different types of Nesters.
• Build relationships with relevant organisations, businesses, communities, creators and individuals.
• Develop communication materials that clearly explain the benefits of becoming a Nester.
• Monitor engagement and conversion and identify ways to improve the journey from first contact to registration.
• Help create a strong sense of community and belonging among Nesters.
What We Can Offer
This is an early-stage equity opportunity.
Initially, the role will be compensated through equity shares in NestAway Ltd rather than a salary alongside dividents while the business is being developed and launched.
As NestAway grows and reaches the appropriate stage, our intention is to transition key team members into paid positions, subject to the company’s growth and financial position.
This is an opportunity to:
• Become part of the NestAway team at an early stage.
• Have genuine influence over the development of the brand.
• Build something with a strong social and environmental purpose.
• Work remotely with flexible hours.
• Develop your portfolio and experience within an exciting startup.
• Share in the future success of the business through equity.
Time commitment
We are looking for someone who can commit approximately 20 hours per week.
Working arrangements are flexible, and we are open to candidates based either in UK/Europe or India. All work is based on UK time zone.
