We are seeking a Senior Programmer with 7+ years of application development, database programming, and production support experience, including 5+ years of hands-on Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing and supporting complex database applications, ETL processes, data warehouses, production data loads, and performance optimization.

• 7+ years of software/application development and production support experience.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL Developer or comparable tools.
• Experience with ETL, data warehousing, data loads, data transformation, and source-to-target mapping.
• Strong SQL/PLSQL performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with production support, root-cause analysis, defect resolution, and data validation.
• Knowledge of SDLC, source-code management, testing, and controlled deployments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and take ownership of complex technical issues.
• Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Oracle database applications using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Design and maintain packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and complex stored program units.
• Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries, execution plans, indexing, and database performance.
• Support ETL processes, data integration, batch loads, data reconciliation, and data-quality validation.
• Investigate production incidents, identify root causes, resolve defects, and validate fixes.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, system, regression, and data-validation testing.
• Review database/application designs and provide recommendations for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Maintain technical, operational, and system documentation and participate in controlled deployments and SDLC activities.
• Collaborate with developers, DBAs, analysts, business users, and other stakeholders to resolve technical and data-related issues.
