Position Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Remote Data Analyst to join our growing analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, validating, and transforming large volumes of data from multiple sources. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams—including Finance, Operations, and Product—to deliver actionable insights that drive business performance. This is a full‑time, remote position with an immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, cleanse, and validate data from internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Create dynamic dashboards and reports in Power BI or Tableau that communicate key metrics to stakeholders.
Collaborate with business partners to define data requirements, identify gaps, and propose solutions.
Perform root‑cause analysis on data anomalies and recommend corrective actions.
Document data processes, data dictionaries, and data quality rules for audit and compliance purposes.
Support ad‑hoc data requests and exploratory analyses to answer critical business questions.
Participate in weekly cross‑functional meetings to align on priorities and deliverables.
Stay current with industry trends in data analytics, data governance, and emerging technologies.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or a similar role.
Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R).
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting findings to non‑technical audiences.
Self‑starter with the ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high productivity.
Familiarity with data governance best practices and data quality frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
