They are seeking a Technical Writer & Systems Documenter to lead the documentation of their systems, ensuring clarity and consistency in technical processes by collaborating with various teams.
Responsibilities
• Interview technical and operational staff to extract undocumented processes, then write them up
• Build and maintain system architecture maps, data flow diagrams, and process documentation
• Document integrations, APIs, and internal tools in plain language and in technical detail
• Create SOPs for recurring operational workflows (finance, fulfillment, distributor ops, etc.)
• Maintain a living knowledge base that stays current as systems change
• Support the incoming Tech Lead with a clean inheritance package
Skills
• Excellent writer — precise, economical, no fluff
• Naturally curious; asks good questions and listens carefully
• Comfortable with technical concepts even without deep engineering background
• Able to produce both executive summaries and detailed technical specs from the same source material
• Self-directed; can manage a documentation backlog without hand-holding
• Familiarity with tools like reputed company, Confluence, reputed company, or similar
• Exposure to software systems, APIs, or database concepts
• Experience with process mapping tools (draw.io, reputed company, etc.)
• Background in business analysis or operations
