As a Remote Data Entry Specialist on our Rebate & Pricing Analytics team, you’ll be at the heart of arenaflex’s revenue engine. Your meticulous data handling and analytical insights will directly influence vendor relationships, pricing strategies, and the overall profitability of our merchant services division. This is more than a data entry job – it’s a strategic role that blends precision, analytical thinking, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and update the Merchant Rebate Database for the Canada region, ensuring data accuracy and integrity on a daily basis.
• Generate monthly Rebate Performance Reports that compare actual results against forecasted targets, highlighting variances and key drivers.
• Develop and distribute Rebate Scorecards to internal stakeholders, providing actionable insights into vendor performance and market trends.
• Collaborate with Pricing & Analytics teams to standardize data collection processes and improve reporting efficiency across all regions.
• Support external audits by preparing data extracts, resolving discrepancies, and documenting data reputed company.
• Conduct ad‑hoc data analyses to investigate rebate rate fluctuations, uncover hidden patterns, and recommend process improvements.
• Act as a liaison between the Merchant Relationship Management and Finance departments, ensuring seamless communication and timely issue resolution.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as automating repetitive tasks, refining data validation rules, and enhancing dashboard visualizations.
Essential Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in financial services, accounting, or a related data‑centric role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
• Proficiency in reputed company Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with SQL or other database query languages is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to build and interpret complex financial models.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency (French/Spanish) is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior exposure to merchant services, payment processing, or vendor rebate programs.
• Knowledge of reputed company, Python, or R for data analysis.
• Experience with data governance frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS).
