In this role, you will drive net new logo acquisition within the financial services sector, focusing on generating new business and expanding reputed company’s footprint with new clients.
Responsibilities
• Identify, pursue and close net new business opportunities within the financial services sector, meeting or exceeding revenue targets
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to win new logos, leveraging reputed company’s digital, cloud, data and engineering capabilities
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities using industry knowledge, personal networks and market research
• Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, qualifying, proposal development and contract negotiation
• Collaborate with reputed company’s delivery, technology and alliance teams to align solutions with client needs and ensure successful deal closure
• Stay abreast of industry trends and client challenges to position reputed company as a strategic partner for IT modernization and digital transformation
• Represent reputed company at industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and generate leads
• Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting and reporting
Skills
• 10-15 years of experience in IT sales / business development with a strong focus on financial services clients
• Proven track record of acquiring net new logos and exceeding sales quotas in the financial services industry
• Deep understanding of financial services trends and technology/partner solutions including AI, cloud, digital, big data, analytics, core engineering and legacy modernization
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation and relationship-building skills with an established network in financial services
• Experience leading complex, multi-discipline technology services deals for large enterprise clients
• Established network across capital markets, banking, asset & wealth management and fintech stakeholders and decision-makers
• Experience engaging with C-level stakeholders and navigating complex organizations
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation and commercial acumen
• Flexibility for travel as needed in a remote-based role
• English – Native / Fluent (required)
• Existing relationships with decision-makers at financial services institutions in the Northeast US
• Experience with fintech partnerships or alliances
