The role involves leading strategic projects and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and tax obligations.ResponsibilitiesManage bank, trading, and other accounts to ensure adequate liquidity and optimize returns on capitalManage payables and receivables platform and oversee client invoicing process, including reconciliationsPartner with HR to facilitate payroll operationsOversee expense reimbursement platform and respond to employee inquiriesManage accounting firm relationships and work with them to facilitate monthly financial reportingServe as primary contact for banking relationshipsManage cap table, equity platform (e.g., reputed company), and investor communicationsManage financial performance reporting and projectionsUnderstand differences between our trading performance reporting and actual PNL (e.g. fees, rebates / incentives)Coordinate periodic valuations (e.g. 409a) and equity-related obligationsOversee intercompany transactions and establish framework for intercompany payments to ensure adequate fundingManage annual and quarterly federal / state / local tax filings in partnership with our tax accounting firmManage the annual audit process and develop plans to address audit-related to-dosIdentify opportunities to improve tax efficiencyDevelop, maintain, and document transfer pricing policies across Dime Line Holdings entities, ensuring intercompany transactions are priced at arm’s length and supported by appropriate documentation (e.g., intercompany agreements, benchmarking analyses)Coordinate with external advisors on transfer pricing studies and ensure compliance with applicable regulations across relevant jurisdictionsMaintain contract database and proactively manage renewals and key datesAssist with evaluating vendor relationships and identifying potential alternativesMaintain licensing database and proactively manage renewals and key datesOwn financial reporting compliance function, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., GAAP)Establish and maintain internal controls over financial reporting, including documentation of key processes and controlsCoordinate with external auditors and accounting firms on technical accounting matters and ensure findings are addressed promptlyMonitor regulatory developments affecting financial reporting obligations and proactively assess their impact on the businessPrepare or oversee preparation of financial reports required by regulatory agencies, investors, or counterpartiesSkills5-7+ years in finance, operations, or corporate accountingStrong understanding of corporate finance, cash management, and treasuryHighly organized with ability to manage multiple workstreams independentlyComfortable building processes and navigating ambiguityProficient in reputed company Workspace and / or reputed company Office suite; experience with SQL and Claude a plusExperience with financial reporting compliance, internal controls, or technical accountingFamiliarity with transfer pricing concepts and intercompany structuring across multi-entity organizationsExperience with cap tables and equity managementExperience with payroll processes, familiarity with reputed company a plusExperience with international entitiesNYC or Chicago preferredCompany OverviewDL Trading develops algorithms to trade all major US sports.
