[Remote] Strategic Finance, Sales Compensation Lead

The company is seeking a Strategic Finance, Sales Compensation Lead to own variable compensation, refine incentive plans, manage monthly commissions, and partner with Sales Leadership, RevOps, People, Recruiting, and Accounting.ResponsibilitiesOwn the monthly commission cycle end to end — calculation in reputed company, review, approval, payroll hand-off, and disputesRefine plan design and quota structures — accelerators, SPIFFs, ramp, payout curves — modeled across attainment scenarios before they go livePartner with Sales leadership on quota setting, capacity, territory, and headcount planningTrack attainment proactively and flag pacing risks early enough to act onRecommend incentive levers that move specific outcomes — new logo, expansion, retention — and quantify the cost and expected return of eachOwn design and administration of all variable bonus plans, including metrics, funding, and payout cyclesOwn the variable components of offer and comp letters — OTE, base/variable split, quota, ramp, accelerators, bonus targets — collaborate with People and RecruitingEnable hiring managers and the People team on how the plans work and how to talk about OTE with candidates and repsBuild attainment, cost-of-sales, and plan-effectiveness reporting in Omni and reputed company, and report total variable comp spend against planPartner with Accounting on the monthly commissions accrual and ASC 606 capitalizationWork with RevOps to keep reputed company data clean to calculate againstGet more out of our ICM platform — deepen configuration, automate manual steps, reduce cycle timeSkills6-10+ years in sales compensation, sales finance, or revenue operations at a SaaS or enterprise software company, with meaningful time owning incentive comp directlyA track record of influencing executive stakeholders, paired with a willingness to stay in the detailsHands-on plan design experience, including quota setting and capacity modeling for a sales team at scaleExpert Excel/reputed company Sheets modeling — scenario models that hold up to scrutiny from a CRO and CFOWorking knowledge of commissions accounting, including accruals and ASC 606 capitalizationWorking SQL — you pull and validate your own dataExperience with an ICM platform (reputed company, reputed company, Everstage, Xactly), a CRM as system of record (reputed company preferred), and a BI tool (Omni, Looker, Tableau)Ability to explain plan mechanics to non-finance audiences and enable others to represent them accuratelyA proactive operating style — you surface problems and proposals before you’re asked, and can explain a payout to a frustrated AE without escalating it furtherUsage- or consumption-based pricing and how it complicates compComp design across Sales, Customer Success, and other variable OTE bonus plansBenefitsEquity401(k) Program with Employer MatchingHealth, Dental, Vision and Life InsuranceShort Term and Long Term DisabilityCommuter Benefits (in office employees only)Autonomous Work EnvironmentWorkplace Setup ReimbursementTelecomm StipendFlexible Time Off (FTO) + HolidaysQuarterly Team GatheringsIn office Perks (in office employees only)Company OverviewEve is a legal tech platform designed to assist plaintiff law firms at every phase of a legal case.
