We are working with a boutique CPA firm on a fully remote Bookkeeping Coordinator role. The firm has no physical office; the team is 100% remote, and this seat directly supports the firm’s bookkeeping manager.
This is a good fit for someone with one to three years of hands-on bookkeeping experience who is looking to grow.
What you would be doing
• Supporting the bookkeeping manager on a portfolio of client accounts
• Accounts payable and bank reconciliations in QuickBooks Online
• Gathering documents from clients and following items through to resolution
• Reconnecting bank feeds and keeping client records clean and current
• Circulating reports and keeping tasks up to date in the firm’s practice management system
• Acting as a friendly, responsive point of contact for client questions
What we are looking for
• Some bookkeeping or staff accounting experience
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and basic accounting principles
• Available during Eastern Time business hours
• Proven comfort working remotely
• Warm, organized, and genuinely good with people; strong follow-through without reminders
• Coachable and open to learning a new firm’s tools and processes
• Enjoys admin work
• Comfortable with tech and AI tools.
Nice to have
• Experience at a CPA or client accounting services firm
• Payroll processing
• Karbon or similar practice management software
• Loom or similar screen recording tools
Compensation: $50,000 to $55,000
