Financial Wellness Educator – Remote

About the job

What if the skills you built as a teacher, coach, counselor, or mentor could open the door to a completely different career?

We’re looking for people who are naturally good at teaching, explaining, listening, and helping others make confident decisions.

Our team works with individuals and families to improve their financial wellness through education and conversation. You don’t need to come from a financial background. If you’re a people-focused professional who enjoys helping others understand complicated topics, we’ll provide the training and support to help you build the knowledge you need.
What You’ll Do
• Help individuals and families understand financial wellness concepts in clear, everyday language.
• Meet virtually with clients from the comfort of your home.
• Build relationships based on trust, education, and communication.
• Help clients explore strategies related to income protection, savings, and retirement.
• Continue learning through structured training, mentorship, and professional development.
• Develop your own client relationships and, if desired, grow into leadership opportunities.
Why Your Background Matters

Teachers, coaches, counselors, mentors, and other people-focused professionals often already have many of the skills this work requires:

You know how to explain.

You know how to listen.

You know how to build trust.

You know how to meet people where they are.

The financial knowledge can be learned. The ability to genuinely connect with people is harder to teach.
What We’re Looking For
• Experience in teaching, coaching, counseling, mentoring, public speaking, sales, customer service, or another people-focused role is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
• Genuine interest in helping improve people’s financial well-being.
• Willingness to obtain a Life Insurance license. Training and support are provided throughout the licensing process.
What You Can Expect
• Fully remote, flexible work
• Full-time and part-time opportunities
• 1099 independent contractor position
• Commission-only compensation
• Uncapped earning potential based on performance
• Training, coaching, and ongoing mentorship
• Opportunities to build a business and grow into leadership
• A team environment centered around education rather than pressure
Important Requirements
• Willingness to obtain a Life Insurance license to meet applicable state and federal requirements.
• Willingness to complete required background checks, including a soft background check and federal background check.
• Must be a legal U.S. citizen or resident and authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be comfortable with a commission-only compensation structure.
• This is an independent contractor opportunity, not a W-2 hourly or salaried position.
Could This Be Your Next Chapter?

If you’ve spent years helping other people learn, grow, solve problems, or make decisions, you may already have many of the skills needed for this work.

You don’t need to be a financial expert to get started. You need to be willing to learn and genuinely care about helping people.

If that sounds like you, we’d love to connect.
