CHS, Inc. is an agricultural cooperative seeking a Technology Portfolio Programmer Analyst to develop and maintain custom SAP LeanIX solutions. The role focuses on JavaScript customization, GraphQL data access, and React/TypeScript development for portfolio reporting, automation, governance, and data-quality improvements. Responsibilities • Design and implement calculated fields in SAP LeanIX using JavaScript to derive meaningful portfolio insights from architecture data • Build and maintain LeanIX automations using JavaScript to reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and support governance processes • Develop custom reports using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and GraphQL to deliver actionable visualizations and insights for stakeholders • Create, test, and optimize GraphQL queries to retrieve and transform LeanIX workspace data efficiently for reporting and automation use cases • Collaborate with enterprise architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand reporting and automation requirements and translate them into technical solutions • Ensure custom code is performant, maintainable, secure, and aligned with platform constraints and best practices • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to calculations, automations, and custom reports in the LeanIX environment • Support deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of custom LeanIX extensions and reporting components • Document technical designs, code, and support procedures to enable maintainability and knowledge transfer • Continuously identify opportunities to improve data quality, portfolio transparency, and user experience within LeanIX Skills • Proficiency in JavaScript, including modern ES6+ concepts and best practices • Experience building custom logic and code-based solutions in SAP LeanIX or similar enterprise platforms • Hands-on experience with GraphQL for querying, filtering, and transforming data • Experience developing front-end components or applications using React • Working knowledge of TypeScript for scalable, maintainable application development • Experience creating analytical, operational, or portfolio-focused reports and dashboards • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and testing skills • Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver usable solutions • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document technical solutions clearly • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position • Experience with the SAP LeanIX Reporting Library and Custom Report Tools, which support React/TypeScript-based report development and workspace upload workflows • Understanding of enterprise architecture concepts, application portfolios, technology standards, and lifecycle management • Familiarity with API integration patterns, JSON data structures, and web-based application development • Experience with version control systems such as Git and modern development workflows • Knowledge of test-driven development, code review practices, and release management • Experience working in agile delivery environments and managing work through backlogs, user stories, and iterative delivery • Ability to optimize data queries and front-end performance for responsive reporting experiences • Familiarity with platform limitations and coding best practices for LeanIX calculations, including self-contained JavaScript logic and technical field references Benefits • Access to hundreds of clients, most who have been working with Genesis10 for 5-20+ years • The opportunity to have a career-home in Genesis10; many of our consultants have been working exclusively with Genesis10 for years • Access to an experienced, caring recruiting team (more than 7 years of experience, on average) • Behavioral Health Platform • Medical, Dental, Vision • Health Savings Account • Voluntary Hospital Indemnity (Critical Illness & Accident) • Voluntary Term Life Insurance • 401K • Sick Pay (for applicable states/municipalities) • Commuter Benefits (Dallas, NYC, SF, and Illinois) Company Overview • Information Technology and Services It was founded in 1999, and is headquartered in New York, New York, USA, with a workforce of 1001-5000 employees.
