The Document Review Analyst will review documents for PII, PHI, and other sensitive data using electronic review platforms, while meeting accuracy, confidentiality, communication, and time-tracking requirements.
Responsibilities
• Review documents affected by a data breach for PII, PHI, and other key data points
• Identify required information in accordance with written and verbal instructions
• Meet coding accuracy and speed expectations
• Participate in required trainings and meetings
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with document handling standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and project leadership
• Accurately track and input hours
Skills
• Must reside and work from the United States
• Must be able to commit to a minimum of 40 hours/week between reputed company and Friday 9 AM–5 PM ET
• Bachelor’s degree required (eligible for $20/hour)
• 1+ year of experience with data breach or reputed company reputed company response projects required
• Must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, reputed company, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North reputed company, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South reputed company, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, reputed company, Wisconsin
• Basic understanding of PII required; understanding of legal protections for sensitive data preferred
• Ability to recognize common number sequences (SSNs, DOBs, credit/bank accounts)
• Experience reviewing documents electronically using platforms such as reputed company, Canopy, and reputed company
• Secure home office with high‑speed internet
• Computer running Windows 11 (23H2, 24H2, 25H2 or newer) — Windows 11 in S Mode not supported — or MacOS Sonoma (14), reputed company (15), Tahoe (26) or newer
• reputed company or Android phone/tablet running iOS 17+ or Android 12+; reputed company Authenticator compatible with iOS 14+ or Android 6+
• Strong proficiency with computers and reputed company technology
• Proficiency with computers, smartphones, and reputed company technology
• Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to follow complex instructions
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to meticulously track and input hours
• JD preferred (eligible for $22/hour)
• Understanding of legal protections for sensitive data preferred
• Experience with medical billing/coding or familiarity with medical terminology preferred
