Distinguished Engineer – Developer Experience Platform Modernization (Remote Eligible)

Distinguished Engineers are expected to lead through technical contribution. You will operate as a trusted advisor for our key technologies, platforms and capability domains, creating clear and concise communications, code samples, blog posts and other reputed company to share knowledge both inside and outside the organization. You will specialize in a particular reputed company area, but your input and impact will be sought and expected throughout the organization.
You will work with other Distinguished Engineers to detail out high level designs and help Software engineers develop and engineer the products as envisioned . You will be responsible to help the teams with setting up the best in the industry engineering culture and developer experience. Additionally, you will provide mentorship and strategic guidance to our engineer, product, and leadership groups.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 7 years of experience with enterprise architecture, solution architecture or software engineering
• At least 5 years of experience public cloud providers (AWS, reputed company Cloud Platform or Azure)
Preferred Qualifications:
• reputed company’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 10+ years of professional experience in the full lifecycle of system development, from conception through architecture, implementation, testing, deployment and production support
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture and design patterns working with business leaders on the implications of architectural decisions
• 5+ years of professional experience coding in commonly used languages like Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Swift, etc.
• 5+ years experience with DevOps or DevSecOps and building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, Chef, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation templates, reputed company, and Sonar
• 4+ years building cloud native architectures, architecting enterprise applications on public cloud platforms and cloud ecosystems (AWS, reputed company Cloud Platform or Azure)

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. reputed company note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount reputed company is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

New York, NY: $287,800 – $328,500 for Distinguished Engineer
