ABOUT SPARKLE EXTERIOR CLEANING SERVICES
Sparkle Exterior Cleaning Services is a growing, family-run exterior cleaning business based in Bedford.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and motivated person to help us grow our business, attract new customers and develop our online presence.
This is a varied role combining digital marketing, customer communication and business development. It would suit someone who is comfortable using computers, enjoys speaking to people and wants to gain experience in marketing and sales.
No previous experience is necessary, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
THE ROLE
Working closely with the business owner, you will help promote Sparkle’s services, generate new business opportunities and increase awareness of the company across Bedford and the surrounding villages.
MARKETING AND SOCIAL MEDIA
• Help manage and develop our social media presence.
• Create and publish content to promote our services.
• Help improve our online presence and local brand awareness.
• Identify opportunities to reach new customers through digital marketing.
• Assist with promotional campaigns and marketing activities.
CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
• Communicate with potential customers and introduce them to our services.
• Help generate new enquiries and secure regular window cleaning customers.
• Promote our services to homeowners throughout Bedford and surrounding villages.
• Explain the benefits of regular window cleaning and other exterior cleaning services.
• Build positive relationships with potential customers.
• Record customer details and enquiries accurately.
• Identify opportunities to help the business expand into new areas.
GENERAL BUSINESS SUPPORT
• Research local marketing opportunities and new ways to attract customers.
• Help develop ideas to increase sales and grow the customer base.
• Keep track of enquiries and new customers generated.
• Use computers and online tools to organise marketing activities.
• Work towards agreed targets and contribute ideas to help the business grow.
The role will involve a mixture of online marketing, computer-based tasks and communicating with people face-to-face in the local area.
Full training will be provided, including support with approaching potential customers and promoting our services confidently.
PAY AND COMMISSION
• £13 per hour plus commission.
• Additional commission for generating new regular window cleaning customers.
• Opportunities to increase your earnings through successful customer acquisition.

Our commission structure rewards you for bringing new regular customers into the business. Full details will be explained during the recruitment process.
WORKING HOURS
We are happy to consider both part-time and full-time applicants.
Hours can be discussed with the successful candidate, making this an opportunity that could suit a student, someone looking for flexible work or someone interested in developing a longer-term career in marketing and business development.
Some flexibility may be required to communicate with homeowners at suitable times, including occasional evenings or weekends.
