The Opportunity
Carrot’s Consulting & Business Intelligence – Market Research desk sits within the pharmaceutical market insights sector which helps healthcare organisations make informed, data-driven decisions. It covers three areas: market research, business intelligence and strategic consulting, each supporting the development, launch and ongoing success of pharmaceutical products and healthcare solutions.
Market Research involves gathering and analysing feedback from healthcare professionals, patients and other stakeholders, using qualitative and quantitative methods such as interviews, focus groups and surveys, to guide product development, branding and communication strategies.
Most work in this space centres on prescription medicines (oncology, neurology, cardiology, rare diseases, immunology and infectious diseases among others) and MedTech and medical devices, from diagnostics and surgical implants to digital health platforms and connected devices. Professionals often specialise in a specific therapy area, building deep knowledge of disease states, treatment pathways and stakeholder needs.
With vacancies on the rise, the existing team are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to continue to grow the existing Consulting & Business Intelligence – Market Research desk across the US market. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with previous experience of the US Life Sciences market, looking to push their career forward backed by one of the market leaders in Healthcare and Life Sciences recruitment..
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will:
• Manage the full 360 recruitment lifecycle
• Develop and grow relationships with US Life Sciences organisations, identifying and winning new business opportunities
• Build a strong industry network and market reputation
• Develop a specialist niche and grow your own revenue generating des
• Manage your recruitment processes from brief to placement
To be successful, you’ll need:
• Previous 360 recruitment experience
• A background in commercial recruitment within US Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharma/Biotech or MedTech market
• A consistent billing track record with strong business development skill
• A relationship-led approach to recruitment and a desire to become a recognised market specialist
