About the Role
As a Remote Accounts Assistant, you’ll support day-to-day financial operations including invoice processing, bank reconciliation, and assisting with month-end reporting. You’ll work closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy and compliance in all accounting records.
Responsibilities * Process purchase invoices and credit notes accurately and on time * Perform bank reconciliations and maintain up-to-date financial records * Assist with payroll preparation and expense claims * Support with month-end journals and reports * Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries * Maintain organised digital files for all transactions Qualifications AAT Level 2 or 3 (or currently studying) preferred Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting support is a plus Required Skills * Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage) * Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail * Strong communication and organisational skills * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment Preferred Skills Experience with VAT returns or payroll processing (desirable but not required) Pay Range and Compensation Package Salary: £14 – £17 per hour (depending on experience) Equal Opportunity Statement Apply4U is committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
