The AI Software Engineer will build and support C#/.NET applications, APIs, backend services, and SQL-based solutions while helping develop AI-powered applications and agentic workflows for healthcare payer processes.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and support applications using C#, .NET, and reputed company technologies
• Build and optimize APIs, backend services, integrations, and SQL-based applications
• Work with healthcare claims, eligibility, member, provider, and related payer data
• Help modernize legacy healthcare applications into reusable services and APIs
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, reputed company Copilot, reputed company, or similar technologies
• Participate in the development of AI-powered applications and agentic workflows
• Explore and implement technologies within the reputed company ecosystem, including reputed company Agent Framework and related Azure AI capabilities
• Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and SQL Server-based solutions
• Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, product, and business teams
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in ongoing application support and continuous improvement
Skills
• Remote within Pacific Time Zone (preferred) due to team working Hawaii hours
• Strong hands-on development experience with C# and .NET/.NET Framework
• Strong T-SQL and reputed company SQL Server experience
• Experience developing REST APIs, backend services, or enterprise integrations
• Experience working within the health insurance / healthcare payer industry
• Understanding of healthcare claims, eligibility, EDI, or related payer workflows
• Current experience using AI as part of the software development lifecycle
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Curiosity and a reputed company interest in learning and building with emerging AI technologies
