Position Overview
We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Backend Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of our customer integration platform. In this role, you will build secure, high‑performance APIs that power developer‑facing features, collaborate closely with product leaders, and guide cross‑functional teams from concept to production. Your work will directly influence how thousands of reputed company connect to reputed company’s ecosystem, ensuring reliability, scalability, and an exceptional developer experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable microservices and backend APIs that support our developer platform.
• Architect secure, versioned RESTful and GraphQL APIs with a focus on usability, consistency, and comprehensive documentation.
• Own end‑to‑end project delivery: from requirement gathering and design reviews to coding, testing, deployment, and post‑launch monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product Management to translate business goals into technical solutions, prioritizing features that deliver maximum value.
• Partner with Frontend, Data, and DevOps teams to integrate services, optimize performance, and ensure seamless end‑to‑end experiences.
• Advocate for engineering excellence, champion best practices, and influence architectural decisions across the organization.
• Mentor junior engineers, reputed company code reviews, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements that impact fintech and real‑estate solutions.
Essential Qualifications
• 5+ years of professional experience building backend services in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.
• Proficiency in at least one modern systems language (Go, Java, Python, C#); openness to learning Go is essential.
• Deep understanding of API design principles, versioning strategies, and developer experience best practices.
• Advanced SQL skills with hands‑on experience in PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform.
• Familiarity with modern web infrastructure components: caching layers, serverless functions, API gateways, and message queues.
• Strong grasp of system design, data structures, algorithms, and the ability to produce clear technical design documents.
• Experience building public APIs and developer platforms that serve external reputed company.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Background in fintech or real‑estate technology, with a deep appreciation for regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Experience with API security best practices: OAuth 2.0, JWT, rate limiting, and threat modeling.
