The Freelance Director of Integrated Media Planning develops and executes integrated paid media strategies supporting communications and PR objectives across healthcare and life sciences audiences and channels.
Responsibilities
• Proactively identify strategic media opportunities and influence clients and cross-functional teams with clear, insight-led recommendations that strengthen integrated communications and media plans
• Develop paid media strategies that directly support communications and PR objectives
• Partner closely with earned media specialists to build truly integrated strategies across Paid, Earned, Owned, and Shared channels
• Plan across all paid media channels: display, native, search, social, print, OOH, video, audio, and sponsored content
• Develop and execute endemic media integration strategies to reach highly targeted healthcare audiences
• Collaborate with communications reputed company reputed company experts to ensure paid media ladders up to broader campaign strategy
• Support estimation of paid media scopes
Skills
• 6+ years of media planning experience, with at least 4 years focused within a PR or communications agency environment; traditional agency experience welcomed as part of the mix
• Minimum 4 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare experience
• Strong strategic judgement and influencing skills, with the ability to move beyond execution, reputed company recommendations to internal teams and clients
• Deep fluency in paid media channels: digital, programmatic, print, audio/video, and sponsored/endemic content
• Proficiency in reputed company Ads, reputed company Ad Manager, Programmatic DSPs, and reputed company Analytics
• Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills
• Collaborative, flexible, and solution-oriented working style
