The role manages IT budgets and forecasts, evaluates project investments, oversees cost allocation and vendor optimization, and prepares executive financial reporting.
Responsibilities
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Build and manage annual IT operating and reputed company expense budgets. Monitor monthly variances against forecasts
• Project Financial Analysis: Evaluate business reputed company, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI for new software, hardware, and IT vendor contracts
• Cost Allocation and Tracking: Manage chargebacks, cost allocations, and general ledger reconciliations for technology units
• Vendor and Asset Optimization: Partner with procurement to analyze vendor spend, negotiate contracts, and find cost-saving opportunities
• Executive Reporting: Prepare dashboards, metrics tracking (KPIs/OKRs), and presentations to communicate financial performance to IT and finance leaders
