Role Description
Sr Consultant(s) in MQ Programming
•
Subject matter expertise and delivery in:
•
MQ design, development, coding
•
MQ administrative APIs
•
Configuration scripts
•
Language specific skills (e.g. Java, Python, other) for automation scripts, new development, and modification to existing scripts. Exact language skills will be provided by Wells Fargo.
•
Automation of configuration for consistent deployment on varied objects (e.g. appliances, containers, managed cloud instances, infrastructure‑as‑code)
Sr Consultant(s) in MQ Distributed Platforms
•
Subject matter expertise and consulting in:
•
Mapping work process flows and throughput workloads
•
Configuration of queues, channels, and clustering
•
Latency and latency monitoring
•
Considerations for on‑prem and cloud environment integrations
•
MQ design and application Fabric across platforms, both IBM Platforms and non-IBM
•
MQ Appliance administration advisement
•
Working knowledge of IBM Ansible
•
Working knowledge of non-IBM products and solutions and/or access to Subject Matter Experts with non-IBM products knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, Google, industry LLMs)
•
Level and extent of IBM’s consulting support for non-IBM technologies may be limited
