We are seeking a Senior Python Developer. This role is ideal for someone eager to apply strong engineering skills within the fast-evolving world of digital assets and blockchain technology. If you enjoy tackling complex technical challenges while working alongside a collaborative, forward-thinking team, this opportunity offers plenty of room to grow Responsibilities Collaborate with team members and stakeholders in developing features and new products Develop solutions according to specified business requirements Define and write up technical specifications, including the appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards Demonstrate and present implementation work to team leaders, heads, or the CTO Implement unit and integration tests to validate functionality Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, and extensibility Participate in code reviews, identifying anti-patterns in the code along with opportunities for refactoring Design and implement secure integrations with blockchain networks, crypto exchanges, and digital wallets Contribute to the development of systems supporting cryptocurrency trading, custody, and settlement Take on other duties as deemed necessary by their superior from time to time Requirements A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of experience in software development Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture A technical mindset with great attention to detail Understanding of software quality assurance principles Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA) Experience in software development and coding in Python Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases Some experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging technologies Experience developing microservices and managing containerized applications Some experience building websockets Some level of experience with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Helm Proficiency in using version control and continuous integration tools such as Git and Jenkins Understanding of web security standards and best practices Strong knowledge of blockchain fundamentals, cryptography, and digital assets Hands-on experience integrating with crypto APIs (REST/WebSocket), smart contracts, or blockchain SDKs Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2) Nice to have Exposure to DeFi protocols, Web3 frameworks, or digital custody systems, which is a plus Knowledge of PHP, which will be considered an advantageThis offer from “EPAM Systems” has been enriched by Jobgether.com and got a 0% flex score.
